Reflections of Love
Honoring Bishop Clinton House & First Lady Dr. Mary House 4 36 Years of Faithful Service
Janice and I wanted to take a moment to honor and celebrate our Bishop, Clinton House, and our First Lady,
Dr. Mary House, on their 36th Anniversary of faithful service and ministry.
Thirty-six years is more than a number, it represents decades of faithfulness, sacrifice, obedience, prayer,
love, and service to God and His people. We are truly grateful for the lives you have touched, the families you
have strengthened, and the countless souls you have encouraged along the way.
We know there are innumerable people who can share a testimony similar to ours: we came to Mountaintop
unchurched, but we came with a strong passion and desire for the Lord. What we found was so much more
than a church. We found a place where we were taught not only how to love God, but how to love family, how to
love one another, and how to live out our faith.
Bishop and Dr. House, you don9t simply preach the Word, you demonstrated it through your lives.
Because of Mountaintop, Janice and I met, we built our marriage there, raised our family there, and had the
privilege of serving together in ministry. Some of the most important and meaningful chapters of our lives
were written within those walls and under your leadership.
We often think about the Scripture in 1 Thessalonians 1:2 - 3, where Paul says:
